So Frank Ocean, How Long Have You Known That You Were Into Bagels?

“You didn’t really expect Odd Future to address Ocean’s revelation that he once carried on a love affair with a man with any seriousness did you?” asks MTV‘s Rob Markman rhetorically. Nah, we didn’t, though we’re glad to see them address the subject with their typical shit-eating sense of humor. The crew (minus Ocean) was asked about Frank’s internet announcement in an MTV interview, but rather than give another boring message of emotional support—not really the OF way—they went in another direction with it.

“I think it’s crazy that that n—a likes bagels like that,” answered Earl Sweatshirt. “For the longest he was frontin’…we’d go to the store like, ‘N—a do you want some bagels?’ and he’ll be like, ‘I don’t f— with bagels.’” Then, Earl addressed the moment of revelation. “All of a sudden a week before the album drop, this n—a like, ‘Pass me the cinnamon raisin with the cream cheese…it was n—a ’cause for the longest nobody would pass him no type of bagels. You know how many bagels there is at Paramount? In that f—in’ kitchen?”

Meanwhile, Tyler, the Creator stood in the background, chiming in on the story like Earl’s hype man, finally concluding “It’s funny because no one cares…I actually don’t give a f—, do you give a f—?” Tyler, the voice of reason, as always.
