This promo for The Voice has two ideas. The first idea’s a takeoff on the idea that’s been shot through The Voice ever since the first snippy comment was made: these coaches get into squabbles with each other! Constantly! And sometimes those squabbles turn into actual fighting, styled like actual action movies with saucy heroes and heroine. It’s TV. Anything can happen. Judges can be thrown to the floor. Hotel rooms can be demolished. You don’t know for sure it’s an exaggeration unless you watch.
The second idea’s easy enough to predict given the time and year: these are the Olympics–broadcast by NBC, like The Voice–so naturally Christina, Cee Lo, Blake and Adam will run into an Olympian or two during the course of their battle. In this case, it’s Bruce Jenner. You already know what joke’s going to transpire.
That feeling when you realize you'll never escape the shadow of the Kardashian name.
Pretty dramatic stuff, at any rate. All it needs is some singing.
